It is not noble to only raise ones actions in alignment with what is right when it is their own well being, is at risk, it is not noble to only fight the good fight when it is in your neighborhood. In fact to raise arms against an oppressor only when they arrive on your doorstep means that it is very likely that upon the doorstep of another, you yourself were the oppressor.
